Coach notes
  • The complete drill system for the under-one-second rhythm from H2 to H10 was explicitly deferred by the founder as too large for one interview segment.

  • First to Fifty -- The hurdle race is roughly fifty steps, and the winner is the athlete who takes them fastest.
  • The Big Four -- Four big, long, strong steps that whack the track back and reach a measured fourth-step mark.
  • H1 to H2 -- Still an acceleration interval. Strike hard, restore the front side, dribble the last two contacts into the next Tyson.
  • The Slide -- Each interval faster than the last, until max velocity, then hold it ideally through H9.
